And that’s a wrap to Q2 folks! June has been all about enhancements to our Shipwire Platform and fulfillment capabilities. Our Webhooks and APIs now have some new functionality and we are happy to announce Lot Control capabilities at select fulfillment centers!
Here’s a detailed recap of the changes that happened to the Shipwire Platform:
What’s New
- Product API & Receiving API – flexible fields upgrade:Users of the Product API & Receiving API can now enter additional information related to their products and orders through our flexible field capabilities. This allows for more customization than was previously available through default Shipwire Platform fields.
- Enhanced Inventory Adjustment Webhook Topics: Updates to our Webhooks allows users to subscribe to notifications for Inventory Adjustment events, in real-time. Get notified about: inventory movement for shipments, returns, receivings, adjustments and much more. Please visit our developer center for a full list of Inventory Adjustment webhooks topics.
- Introducing Lot Control capabilities: We’re happy to announce that our Redlands, CA, facility now supports: Lot Control, First In, First Out (FIFO) and First Expired, First Out (FEFO) inventory management. All Ingram Micro Commerce & Fulfillment ALCs support FIFO as well. Users of the Shipwire Platform in these enabled warehouses can now track specific pieces of inventory and leverage reporting on specific lots.
