Shipwire is headed to the 13th Annual North American 3PL Summit and Chief Supply Chain Officer Forum hosted by Eye For Transport in Chicago from June 16-18th.
The 3PL Summit is North America’s largest and most high-level gathering of logistics executives and their manufacturer and retailer supply chain counterparts. The conference brings together the leading thinkers and practitioners in logistics and supply chain to debate challenges, discuss trends, and share ideas.
On June 17th, during a series of discussions about E‑Commerce, Consumer Delivery, and the New Logistics Economy, Phil Guindi, VP of Product at Shipwire, will join CEOs and GMs from Uber, LoadDelivered, Transfix, and FLEXE on a panel to address New Innovative Business Models Challenging the Logistics Norm. The panel will be moderated by Brett Bissel, COO of CEVA.
Topics of discussion may include the sharing economy and the feasibility of it disrupting traditional logistics, the way that tech-enabled businesses are able to achieve what traditional logistics businesses have been doing, the process behind coming up with each businesses’ model, key challenges businesses face breaking into the industry, and ideas about future of disruption in the logistics industry.
