Our Shipwire Platform team is a finalist for the Tech In Motion award, “Silicon Valley’s Best Technology Workplace Culture.” We are proud to support them in this recognition and are excited to share the following message from our Director of Engineering, Andrew Wu. It has always been our company’s desire to cultivate and nurture the careers of the talented people we’ve collected, and it has been a personal mission of mine to make my workplace an invigorating and exciting place to be. Efforts to maintain such an environment are never over, but I’m happy with what we’ve built and it seems I’m not the only one — we were recently recognized as a finalist for Tech In Motion’s “Best Technology Workplace Culture” award. The longevity of our team and the continuity of our values have fostered a tight cohesion that’s weathered a lot of growth and change. We’ve also benefitted from the addition of many new teammates whose talents have strengthened us and brought more diversity and skill to our office. Like any culture, ours is continually progressing, keeping things fresh and new. It’s our people — their care for each other and their work — that define and advance our company’s culture. We are honored to be a finalist in Tech In Motion’s award for Silicon Valley’s Best Technology Work Culture. To further validate our efforts in establishing an outstanding and remarkable work culture, we ask for your vote and assistance in helping to spread the word. Thank you.
Coming together is the beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success. -Henry Ford
Creating a workplace like ours didn’t happen magically or quickly. We have evolved through many stages, including a merger with a much larger Fortune 100 company, Ingram Micro. Yet, through these changes, two key things have been constant: a core team of people have remained, and we’ve upheld the same values that guided us during our startup days.
