Shipwire Platform UI Update
In early 2016, we introduced ingrammicroservices.com to represent our business, Ingram Micro Commerce & Fulfillment. A few months later, we redesigned shipwire.com (read about it here), framing our Shipwire Platform technology as a product of Ingram Micro Commerce.
Today, we’re excited to share that our updated visual experience has been extended to our web application, the Shipwire Platform.
Thousands of users around the world access our award-winning platform every day, and combined with the scale of our global fulfillment network, the world’s leading brands and retailers rely on it to grow their businesses.
Since the Shipwire Platform is a product of Ingram Micro Commerce, we wanted its visual appearance to reflect that. In the image above, you can see that the signature indigo gradient from Ingram Micro Commerce is seen in the new platform navigation, framing the functional area of the Shipwire Platform, which borrows its illustration style from the Shipwire.com site.
Our designers were inspired by dark gradients and grays from ingrammicrocrommerce.com and bright colors and clean lines from shipwire.com, and blended the two for inspiration in creating the new platform interface (see the image below).
With the new platform design, cutting-edge features like the Dashboard finally get the emphasis they deserve without being obscured by dated color schemes and fonts. Overall, the update offers a fresh, weightless Platform experience that lets the spotlight shine on our powerful software and UX.
We’re always working to improve your interaction with our business, products and brand, and we hope you’ll agree that this update accomplishes just that.
