Data destruction at device end-of-service is essential to the security of your ITAD program. Whether your security strategy calls for onsite or offsite data erasure / drive destruction, our skilled technicians provide data sanitization solutions and services wherever you need them.

Drive Erasure or Drive Destruction
There are two ways of eliminating information stored on IT assets: data erasure and device destruction. The method you select depends on whether 1) the asset has residual value and will be reused, 2) the asset no longer has residual value, or 3) your corporate security policy mandates physical destruction.
No matter whether you choose data erasure or drive destruction, both services may be performed at your facility or at an Ingram Micro processing center.
Our erasure protocol uses internationally-recognized Blancco software to ensure data sanitization for servers and desktop/laptop computers - including ones with SSDs - as well as virtual drives, smartphones, and tablets. The secure, high-speed data overwrite complies with NIST SP 800-88 and other internationally-recognized erasure standards. The software produces a serialized report for audit compliance and we track and store all details in BlueIQ, our proprietary Asset Intelligence System.
We destroy data-bearing devices by shredding magnetic drives and pulverizing SSDs. We operate a fleet of mobile shredders mounted on secure Ingram Micro trucks, and can also deploy mobile degaussing units and SSD drive pulverizers.
Regardless of which solution or combination of solutions you select, drive materials and e-waste are recycled using an e-Stewards-certified process, and you receive a Certificate of Data Erasure & Destruction for every drive.
