April 22, 2021
IRVINE, California – April 22, 2021 – In recognition of Earth Day 2021, Ingram Micro Commerce & Lifecycle Services celebrates the environmental responsibility our ITAD clients demonstrate through their use of our reuse and recycling programs. Supporting sustainability initiatives is a critical component of Ingram Micro’s environmental mission and we are proud to facilitate environmental stewardship on behalf of the companies we serve. With customers whose operations extend to 80 countries, significant environmental protections were achieved around the world.
“With global e-waste exceeding 53 million metric tons and projected to grow by 2.5 million metric tons annually, I am proud of how Ingram Micro helps our customers achieve their sustainability goals through the responsible reuse and recycling of their IT assets through our ITAD program,” said Todd Zegers, vice president, ITAD & Reverse Logistics.
Earth Day is a celebration with the goal to support the environment and raise awareness for the environmental protection and care of our planet. People and organizations in 192 countries are asked to think about ways to reduce their carbon footprint and make the Earth a better and healthier place to live.
