Irvine, Calif. – October 15, 2018
Ingram Micro Commerce & Lifecycle Services Ingram Micro ITAD, a global leader in IT asset disposition and lifecycle support services, today announced that veteran technology executive Reed Kaiser has joined the company as director, IT Service Management
Kaiser has most recently served as the senior director for asset management and technology services at the University of Phoenix, a leading provider of higher education programs for working adults. At University of Phoenix he’s been responsible for overseeing the team managing the full range of IT support services including the corporate Help Desk, field services technicians, the mobility program, asset disposition, subscription services, telecommuter depot operations, and associated managed services, with a keen focus on reducing risk and costs while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Kaiser has concurrently served on the Leadership Council of the Basel Action Network as an advisor for the e-Stewards initiative, which shows his strong commitment to two of the foundational principles of the IT Asset Disposition industry: data security and environmental stewardship.
At Ingram Micro, Kaiser’s primary focus will be on IT Service Management (ITSM) partnerships and third-party integrations with products from leading IT services management platform providers. His portfolio also includes managing initiatives in the install/move/add/change (IMAC) space.
“We’ve had the opportunity to work with Reed in his role at Apollo, an innovative industry-leading company,” said Todd Zegers, vice president ITAD, Commerce & Lifecycle Services. “We’ve found him to be a focused and forward-looking executive with a deep understanding of IT Asset Management and extensive experience optimizing technology solutions, and we are thrilled to have him join us to help grow our expanding suite of technology partner solutions.”
“What I found most compelling about Ingram Micro Commerce & Lifecycle Services is their vision,” adds Kaiser. “Their long-term focus on creating and enhancing ITSM integrations for ITAD – and embedding these enhanced services to achieve a seamless ITSM process – is a compelling solution to the asset management needs of large, distributed organizations. I’m looking forward to assuming a leadership role in guiding this evolution.”
