Year in Review: 2020 in the U.S.
Reviewing 20202020 presented a number of new challenges to businesses. eCommerce penetration in the U.S. hit 21%, up from 16% in 2019, the biggest year-over-year jump for U.S. retail sales ever recorded. No other year has even reached a two percentage-point gain in digital penetration (source: digitalcommerce360). This acceleration in online shopping prompted many companies to reevaluate their eCommerce strategies and solutions.
