ASOS: European Fashion
eCommerce Fulfillment
“One Great thing about Ingram Micro is the decision making capability of the senior team – I can pick up the phone and resolve a problem very quickly.”
Mark Holland Chief Operating Officer, ASOS
European Fashion eCommerce Fulfillment
ASOS and Ingram Micro Commerce & Lifecycle Services began working together in 2014. The operation started in a small facility shared with other brands and has undergone a dramatic transformation over the years. Today, ASOS has their own 80,000 m² warehouse near Berlin, Germany, stocks about 22 million product SKUs, and employs thousands of associates who work diligently to receive inventory and ship orders out to customers each day. A look at the ASOS warehouse is all it takes to understand the company’s incredible growth. The vast logistics center is almost fully automated and features state-of-the-art technology, including automated inbound processing, automated storage and retrieval (OSR), goods-to-person stations, pocket sorters, induct stations, an additional parcel sorter, a dynamic buffer, and an extensive network of conveyors. In working with Ingram Micro, ASOS found a 3PL capable of handling a rapid its growth curve, as well as a partner that shares its business values and priorities.
